Youtube.com the famous video site which was over taken by Google sometime back has now risen above Google itseld in terms of its traffic rankings given by Alexa.

Yahoo.com is leading No.1 Position while YouTube is at second position,MSN Live.com is @ 3rd postion while Google.com is on 4th position.(according to ALEXA traffic ranking)

Traffic

While according to compete.com Google.com and Yahoo.com are far above the reach of Youtube.com traffic, we must also take into account that compete takes only US visitors into account.

compete

Does the Traffic spike for Youtube signify the time is ripe enough for Video Search Marketing rather than conventional searching techniques with a simple clean home page???

I’m not surprised. People visit Google to look things up, but they know where to go for cool videos.

People are making a fortune with clever video marketing, even Hilary tried to get in on it for her election campaign.

Definitely, learn to create videos to make money with!

I believe Youtube very soon will claim the top spot in the Alexa ranking. This is due to the fact that Yahoo’ traffic has been constantly dropping since months ago while there are increasing number of people uploading their videos via Youtube everyday. I believe not only Youtube, Google soon will closing up the gap as well.

YouTube will be number 1 for sure. Everyone is checking it if they are looking for a particular video. And just think about how many people are sending out links to videos found or posted on YouTube. And as there’s no serious competition, they will claim the first place.

There are similar contenders to Youtube popping up and failing even quicker than that.
I think text searching would be replaced with video searching one day.. i think so :)
