Yahoo! has released the next version of it messenger service. The new messenger boasts of a flashy new interface and it also includes some new smilies.

Yahoo! has released the messenger in localized versions in six new markets: Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, India (Hindi), and Vietnam.

The other features in the new version of the messenger include

• • Call Forwarding to mail and Phone numbers.
  • Watch Youtube videos and Flickr photos inline ,i.e You can watch the Video or Photo Stream directly in your IM window without needing to visit the Website.
  • All new emoticons “thumbs up,” “thumbs down,” “rock on,” “it wasn’t me,” “don’t want to see it,” and “hurry up.”
  • It allows to share maps between you and you friends.
  • Intergrated contact list and Address book
  • New skins available on the main window itself.
